API Getting Started

Choose, Provision, Submit

The User Action API is one endpoint with multiple published ActionTypes. Begin with the interaction you need to implement, then provision the appropriate ActionKey.

  1. Choose a product and its ActionType.
  2. Request an authorized API key and an ActionKey of the exact type. The ActionType is encoded in the ActionKey.
  3. Read the type guide for required identity, destination, and correlation fields.
  4. Send an ActionKeyToken and Values object to the User Action API.
  5. Inspect the HTTP status, API result, and configured response signals.
  6. Apply product handling and report subsequent outcomes where applicable.

Try an Example

Open the REST Explorer from an ActionType guide. The expected type is a guide hint; the verified ActionKey remains authoritative. Use test credentials authorized for browser use. Keep production private keys on your server.

Integration Planning

If none of the published types fits, use Intelligent API to arrange a call and plan the right action, signal contract, outputs, and feedback.
